Groups for ChildrenPreschool
Early Intervention is for 3
and 4 year olds who are having trouble following directions, listening,
or getting along with others. Early Intervention
improves problem-solving skills of 5 to 10-year-olds. In a supportive
environment, children discuss common issues including divorce, grief,
anger management, abuse and neglect. Limited transportation
available.
Eagle
Eyes I is for 5 to 13-year-olds with
Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD). Kids develop
strategies to improve school performance, manage anger and get along
with others. Eagle
Eyes II is similar to Eagle eyes. This group works with 5 to
13-year-olds with behavior problems including oppositional defiant
disorder and conduct problems. Youth
View helps 10 to 13-year-olds understand how important it is
to respect themselves and others. Also they build self-esteem while
learning how to appropriately express their feelings. Limited
transportation available.
Children's Bereavement Group helps 9 to 12-year-olds cope
effectively with grief and loss. Limited transportation available. Sexually
Traumatized Children's Groups helps victims heal from
sexually abusive experiences. Limited transportation available.
Teen Anger Management is for teens
ages 13 to 17. They learn to resolve conflicts in productive ways,
manage anger and get along with others. Limited transportation
available. Youth Sex
Offender Treatment helps youth offenders minimize their risk
of committing further sexual offenses. |
