Groups for AdultsWomen's 40+ Depression/anxiety Management
Group for women 40 to 60 helps with life issues related to
the transition from middle to older adulthood. Topics include:
depression, anxiety, physical disability, health problems, relationships
with adult children and grandchildren, and caring for aging loved ones.
Women Survivors Of Violence Group offers group members an opportunity to
meet other women who have faced similar experiences and learn ways to
cope with the overwhelming affects of abuse and violence.
Adults Molested As Children Group helps women understand how sexual
abuse affects them and learn ways to cope successfully on a daily basis. Older
Adult Women's Group helps women over 55 meet the challenges of
aging. The group addressed depression, grief, retirement, loss of
independence, loneliness and difficult family relationships. Limited
transportation available.
Older Adult Men's Group helps men over 40 meet the challenges of aging.
The group addresses depression, grief, retirement, loss of independence,
loneliness and difficult family relationships. Limited transportation
available. Anger
Management encourages adults to identify what triggers their anger
and develop new techniques to more effectively deal with their feelings. Co-Ed Depression and Anxiety
Management
Groups helps adults ages 18-40 learn techniques for coping
with symptoms of depression and anxiety and maximizing interpersonal
efficacy.
Mental Heath and Substance Abuse Group helps adults age 18+
with a history of substance abuse with the stabilization of their mental
health symptoms.
Batterers' Treatment Group teaches men alternatives to coercive,
demanding and violent behavior.
Adult Sex Offender's Group helps sex offenders minimize their risk of
committing further sexual offenses.
Female Sex Offender's Group is similar to adult sex offender
group but is for adult female sex offenders. Reorientation to Society works with individuals who have been
incarcerated. Group members learn skills necessary to successfully
navigate life on the outside. |
