This grant-funded program provides in-home counseling for adult women who have been the victims of violence. The Project Reach therapist helps women overcome the trauma of abuse, learn ways to cope with depression and anxiety, and develop a plan to bring control to their lives. After individual treatment women can continue their work in the Women Survivors of Violence Group. the services are offered at no cost - thanks to a grant from the Violence Against Women Act.
This grant-funded program is for teens who have been charged with domestic violence. The program teaches teens new strategies to resolve conflicts in nonviolent ways, manage their anger and cope with stress. Parents participate in a special parenting group. The services are offered at no cost - thanks to a grant from the Office of Justice Programs through the State of Ohio, Office of Criminal Justice Services.
This intense program encourages men to take responsibility for their violence against others while they learn alternatives to controlling and violent behavior. Their partners are contacted by a women's advocate who helps each woman develop a plan to remain safe and connect with other community resources.
