Dual Recovery provides integrated outpatient services for people facing both a mental illness and a substance abuse problem. The staff includes therapists and case managers trained and certified as mental health professionals and chemical dependency professionals. Participants learn about substance abuse, mental illness, coping skills, community skills, nutrition, the role medication plays in treatment and other issues important to maintaining recovery. The program focuses on relapse prevention and building sober support systems.
